Congrats to all the young men at Central, you played with lots of heart and determination. I am glad that you've proved some people wrong about you and opened some eyes! I was proud to be on the Central side cheering you on.

All I heard on the walk back to the car after the Burton/Clintwood game was that Coach Adams needed to be fired from Norton too.

Whi is that, I thought he was J.I.B.'s "savior". One loss does not mean he should be fired. Clintwood just exposed Burton's weaknesses, something for him to work on this week at practice. Burton will be fine.

Hell even in Clintwood some fans want Coach Mullins dismissed, (of course these are fans of kids not playing, never played nor understand the game, and parents who are transferred their kids here from other schools,) and this is a coach who has been to the state championship game 3 times I think...1 with Pound as offensive coach(which in itself is a huge accomplishment) and twice with Clintwood. To me this is HIGH SCHOOL football and coaches do not get out there and block or tackle and as long as coaches are not being abusive, teaching them that school comes before football, emphasizing(sp) them to have fun and to be the best they can be, I just wish fans would leave the coaches alone. There is a reason they coach and you are in the stands. Of course you're entiltled to your opinion but to me either leave them alone or get a degree, teach and G.Y.O.T. Get your own team.
